More Fun Up Mueller Canyon!

So a week ago today Eric and I hiked up to Elephant Rock...so much fun! The sunset was so beautiful...but it was also sunset and dark. We did not have a flashlight and wanted to get back down the trail before it was too dark so we started jogging. I totally ate it and slid down the trail on my shin and hands. My hands are better...fine really but it is my shin that will take some time to heal. This picture was pre-cleaning, but I am sad to say it does not look much better right now...it is still pretty yucky!

Cute Duckies!

I have had so much fun hiking up Mueller Canyon this summer. About 2 weeks ago Eric and I found 4 baby duckies. They were all snuggled up behind the tire of a truck parked on the side of the road. There was no mom around and we did not want to leave them there that night. Eric had a Tupperware container in his truck that we used to take them home. Thanks to friends and family we were able to get some duck food and a crate to keep them in for the night. The next day Eric took them to a wildlife refuge and dropped them off. They were very cute!

I had a great weekend!  Julie, Kristen, Eric and I went to St George for the weekend!  One of the amazing things about the weekend was that my parents let me bring Hampton!  It was very cute!

We went miniature golfing, and I shot a hole-in-one!  It was pretty amazing if I do say so myself...but  Julie, Kristen and Eric would also agree!  We took Hampton for walks, ate waffles, sat in the hot tub...we went hiking in Snow Canyon...we went to Pine Valley for church on Sunday.  The Pine Valley Chapel is so cute.  There were 618 people in attendance for Sacrament meeting.  The chapel was full, the extra/Sunday school room was full so we sat in the Relief Society room/kitchen.  They had chairs set up for people to sit on outside on the grass.  They had Sacrament meeting on video/tv's throughout the building.  It was great!  After church we walked around the reservoir and took some pictures.  I hope you enjoy the pictures below...

Today has been a great day and it is just going to get better!  I worked in the yard and helped my neighbors plant around the neighborhood!  Then I went to the gym...tonight I am going to see a movie with some friends!  I hope that you have a great weekend just like me!

A Few Of My Favorite Things!

I love Shopping, I love my new Laptop!  

I bought a new laptop this weekend!  It is pretty exciting!  My laptop died last week after working great for 5 years!  I went to Best Buy and looked around and I looked online.  I ended up going to Costco and purchased a great HP PC.  The service at Costco was great!  I went on their website to let them know how great their employees were.  I brought it home, plugged it in, registered and then started playing.  In the upper-right hand corner these black lines started 

to run down the screen, kinda like a black ink pen broke inside and it was leaking into my screen!  So...I restarted and the lines were worse!  Sad!  But luckily Costco is right down the street and I can return things up to 90 days with my receipt!  I brought back the laptop within 2 hours.  The same great employees were there to help me.  I explained what was going on and they did an exchange with very few questions!  Other than the fact that I had to bring it back in the first place they were very helpful!  I started over with new laptop #2, and things have been wonderful!  

The pictures on top are of my old laptop and the ones on the bottom are of my new laptop!  Now I just have to get with my (yes, they are mine) IS/IT guys and have them help me get the music, pictures, and other files off my old laptop.  I hope that will happen this week.
